SISU VISION REHABILITATION
Sisu Vision Rehabilitation provides holistic occupational therapy services to promote independence, happiness and quality of life for clients experiencing changes in visual function, either from neurological vision loss or age related vision loss.
OUR PRACTICE
Our therapy is designed to specifically address and overcome barriers, elicit hope, encourage happiness, honor the human experience of loss and disability, and develop a reserve to enable continued success following rehabilitation. Sisu, a life enabling agent, is cultivated and helps build a bridge between this moment and the next, while also promoting independence, safety, and quality of life.
Rehabilitation focuses on restorative and compensatory approaches, as well as environmental and task modifications, to complete important and meaningful occupations specific to the client.
Through Sisu Vision Rehabilitation, the client overcomes adversity by implementing new strategies and techniques, exploring new habits, roles and routines; learning or relearning visual skills, maximizing strengths, and ultimately thriving across all areas of occupation.
Mission Statement:
The mission of Sisu Vision Rehabilitation is to provide specialized, superior quality, client-centered, evidence based, and holistic occupational therapy services for individuals experiencing changes in visual function. As a team, we cultivate an action mindset with a consistent, creative, and courageous approach towards rehabilitation in order to promote independence, autonomy, and quality of life.
Vision Statement:
The vision of Sisu Vision Rehabilitation is to promote flourishing in the face of adversity and healing for clients with loss of vision or loss of visual processing centers.
